P90X Review

The development of many exercise packages are on the market and have found their way into many of my readers homes.  The idea of doing exercises in the house is not a new phenomenon, as you could see with any fitness channel on your local cable network.  One of the fitness products that I have added to my regiment is the P90X product.  The idea of muscle confusion is one of the best ideas that have been used by athletes and trainers for countless years.

The idea of P90X is to do a set of workouts for about three weeks and one week of a recovery…a lighter workout session.  Though I say a lighter workout session it's not really that much lighter.  You still break a sweat and you still burn those needed calories that get the weight off.  During the three week session you'll find that majority of the time is spent lifting and developing muscles that you might not have had to use on a regular basis.  On the relaxing week you'll tend to strength those newly developed muscles.  Here's the kicker, on the weeks that are supposed to be relaxing, I did more perspiring during those weeks than any of the main ones.

Some of the worries that I would like to bring to everyone's attention is the process of intake.  In the terms of intake I mean to eat, as much of the right foods and nutritional products as possible.  One of the worst feelings is the feeling of crashing in the middle of a workout.  For every activity the body will burn calories in some form of fashion.  The P90X workouts will burn those calories at a rate that is amazing to the average person.  I would like to challenge anyone that does the program and eat right, to prove that they don't see the changes from the program.

One concern is the ability to have all the proper equipment to handle the workouts.  I've found that the bands for the beginner.  The potential issue of using weights is the purchase of the wrong size weights, either too heavy or too light.  The idea of being discouraged is an issue of why many have tried and failed to complete the workouts.

Keynotes are to make sure that you have the proper nutrition going into your body, and putting your all into the workouts.  The results will come as long as you stay focused on the end goal.

The final note that I'd like to share is the weight note.  Some people are focused on the weight they'd like to end up with.  I've found that in many cases the weight they'd like to be is not the same as the weight they'll end up with, at the end of the program.  20 to 25 pounds is not a bad end result, but it's not unheard of that you might loose as much as 30 to 40 pounds.  Keep in mind the results are only going to show if you make, and stick to a proper nutritional plan.
